Welcome to Shadow TCG. By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing from Shadow TCG, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all products sold by Shadow TCG, including but not limited to trading cards, graded cards, single cards, sealed products, booster packs, mystery products, accessories, and any other trading card-related items.

About Shadow TCG

Shadow TCG is an Australian trading card business offering authentic trading card products to collectors and players.

We take pride in providing genuine products, accurate listings, and careful packaging. Due to the unique nature of trading card products and the rapidly changing secondary market, our policies may differ from traditional retail stores.

Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all product descriptions, images, prices, and availability details listed on our website are accurate and up to date.

Product images may be used for display purposes only. Minor differences in product packaging, print runs, card centering, factory condition, or external wrapping may occur, particularly with trading card products.

For single cards and graded cards, we aim to describe the product as accurately as possible based on the information available at the time of listing. Buyers should carefully review all photos, descriptions, grades, certification details, and product information before purchasing.

Trading Card Market Values

Trading card prices can fluctuate quickly due to demand, rarity, condition, grading population reports, market trends, and secondary market activity.

By placing an order with Shadow TCG, you acknowledge that the value of trading card products may rise or fall after purchase. Shadow TCG does not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or price adjustments due to changes in market value after an order has been placed.

Orders

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation email outlining your purchase details.

Shadow TCG reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order where necessary, including but not limited to situations involving:

Payment issues

Incorrect pricing

Website errors

Stock availability issues

Suspected fraudulent activity

Incorrect customer details

Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

If an order is cancelled by Shadow TCG and payment has already been received, a refund will be issued using the original payment method where possible.

Payment

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

If you select Bank Transfer as your payment method, your order will not be dispatched until payment has been received and confirmed. Once payment has been confirmed, Shadow TCG will process your order and provide the relevant invoice and shipping details where applicable.

Failure to complete payment within a reasonable timeframe may result in the order being cancelled.

Shipping and Delivery

Orders are packed with care and shipped using Australia Post.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

Shadow TCG is not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, incorrect delivery information, weather events, public holidays, operational delays, or circumstances outside our control.

If an item is delayed or appears to be lost in transit, Shadow TCG will assist by lodging an enquiry with the delivery provider where appropriate.

Risk of Loss or Damage During Delivery

Shadow TCG takes reasonable care when packing all orders. However, once an order has been dispatched, delivery timeframes and handling are controlled by the shipping provider.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please retain all packaging, shipping labels, and products, and contact us as soon as possible with supporting photographs. This helps us assess the issue and lodge any required enquiry with the carrier.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

At Shadow TCG, we take pride in providing authentic trading card products and ensuring every order is packed with care.

Due to the nature of trading card products, including sealed products, randomised contents, graded cards, single cards, and the rapidly changing secondary market, all sales are considered final unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind Returns

Shadow TCG does not accept returns, exchanges, refunds, or cancellations for change-of-mind purchases.

This includes, but is not limited to, situations where:

You no longer want the item

You found the item cheaper elsewhere

The market value changed after purchase

You selected the wrong item

You are dissatisfied with the contents of a sealed or randomised product

You did not receive a particular card, pull, grade, or chase item

You opened a sealed product and are unhappy with the results

Please ensure you carefully review your order, product details, images, pricing, and shipping information before completing your purchase.

Sealed Products and Randomised Products

Sealed trading card products, booster packs, mystery products, and other randomised items are sold as sealed or randomised products.

Shadow TCG does not guarantee specific pulls, card values, grades, chase cards, hit rates, or contents unless expressly stated in the product listing.

Dissatisfaction with random card pulls, box contents, pack contents, or market value is not considered a valid reason for return, refund, or exchange.

This policy helps protect both customers and our business from:

Product tampering

Pack searching

Box manipulation

Secondary market price changes

Disputes relating to randomised product outcomes

Single Cards and Graded Cards

Single cards and graded cards are sold based on the product information, images, condition notes, grading details, and descriptions provided in the listing.

For graded cards, Shadow TCG relies on the grade assigned by the relevant grading company. We do not guarantee that another grading company would assign the same grade, nor do we guarantee future grading outcomes, crossover grades, regrades, or market value.

Buyers should review all images and listing details carefully before purchasing.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact Shadow TCG as soon as possible after delivery.

To assist with our investigation, we may request:

Clear photographs of the product

Photographs of the external packaging

Photographs of the shipping label

A description of the issue

Your order number

Any other relevant supporting information

Providing this information helps us assess the issue quickly and fairly.

Failure to provide supporting evidence may affect our ability to investigate or resolve your claim, particularly where the issue relates to shipping damage or missing items.

Resolution Options

If a claim is reviewed and approved, Shadow TCG may offer an appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. This may include:

Other suitable resolution

The resolution offered will depend on the nature of the issue, product availability, the evidence provided, and any applicable consumer rights.

Return Shipping

For approved returns that are not related to damaged, incorrect, faulty, or defective items, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For approved claims resulting from an error by Shadow TCG, or where required under Australian Consumer Law, we may provide return shipping instructions.

Items must not be returned without first contacting Shadow TCG and receiving return instructions.

Product Authenticity

Shadow TCG aims to provide authentic trading card products.

Where products are factory sealed, they will be supplied in their sealed condition unless otherwise stated in the listing. Where products are graded, they will be supplied in the grading holder shown or described in the listing.

If you have concerns about the authenticity of an item received, please contact us promptly with your order number and supporting information.

While we aim to keep our website accurate, errors may occasionally occur. Shadow TCG reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time. This may include errors relating to:

Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders unless otherwise agreed by Shadow TCG.
